UIPVE and Japan: Implementation of the Green Industrial Recovery and Innovation Project in the Agricultural Sector – Initial Results

Come backThe Ukrainian Institute for Plant Variety Examination (UIPVE) is actively and successfully implementing a large-scale bilateral project entitled «Green Industrial Recovery of Ukraine through Technology Transfer and Joint Creation of New Enterprises with Japanese Private Companies»
Launched in 2025, the project is already showing its first results in the field of technology transfer and innovative recovery of the agricultural sector.
UIPVE is a key Ukrainian partner, effectively using its scientific and technological base, experimental infrastructure, and expert support.
The key areas of implementation are: technology transfer, support for the agricultural sector through the application of modern biotechnologies, in particular the Imec (Mebiol) system, creation of joint ventures, green modernization of industry, introduction of biotechnologies in the agricultural sector, creation of modular production systems for communities, formation of an R&D platform at the UIPVE, etc.
The implementation of this project is a striking example of successful international cooperation that ensures the modernization of the economy and contributes to the sustainable green growth of Ukraine.
