UIPVE participated in the IV International Conference “Food from Ukraine”

Come backOn November 19, Kyiv hosted the annual IV International Conference on Food Security “Food from Ukraine” – a key international platform dedicated to strengthening global food security and developing strategic partnerships between Ukraine and the international community.
UIPVE Director Serhii MELNYK took part in Panel 4: “Production Technologies: Innovation, Energy Efficiency, Processing,” where he gave a short presentation on the implementation of innovative technologies and the creation of a unified information space in plant variety expertise.
Even during wartime, Ukrainian farmers maintain high productivity. Ukraine accounts for 36% of global exports of sunflower oil, 38% of meal, and more than 13% of corn. Farmers work in extremely difficult conditions: under shelling, in mined areas, and at risk of drone attacks.
Together, we are proving that Ukraine's strength lies in its resilience and collective effort.
