  From June 25 to 26, 2024, in the frame of Japanese Grant Assistance “The Programme for Emergency Recovery to Ukraine” the Lviv, Rivne, Chernihiv, Poltava, and Khmelnytsk affiliates of the Ukrainian Institute for Plant Variety Examination were received tractors from the Government of Japan through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

During the field qualification examination of plant varieties an important component is the creation of favorable soil conditions necessary for seed germination, further growth and crop development, and high-quality harvesting.

Modern powerful tractors with new innovative functions maximally satisfy the requirements for carrying out scientific and technical examination of plant varieties in terms of soil preparation and cultivation of testing fields where new plant varieties are tested.

Providing of field plant variety examination by multifunctional tractors will allow to increase the efficiency of arable land cultivation, reduce fuel costs and lower the cost of field processing.

The Project is implemented with the assistance of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
